Give the test suite room against go's default timeout

The e2e package runs 400-700s and go's per-package default is 600s, so a
loaded machine kills a passing tree and dumps every goroutine — a failure
that names no test and points at whatever http transport was mid-dial.
Five runs of the same tree today: 410s, 518s, 485s, 662s (killed), 547s.

A real hang still fails, 30m later.
