Nothing in cmd/gitbay reads HEAD (no symbolic-ref or rev-parse --abbrev-ref). Inside a feature branch, gitbay mr create --title x fails with usage (internal/control/mr.go:264) until --source is typed. mr checkout hardcodes origin (cmd/gitbay/local.go:116). There is no pager, no colour and no NO_COLOR handling.
Remedy: default --source to the current branch when it tracks the inferred origin and --target to the repository's default branch.
