One build per process, 5-second polling (cmd/gitbay-runner/main.go:91), no artifacts, no cache, no matrix; config is jobs.<name>.steps plus schedule and tags (internal/ci/ci.go:41). ClaimBuild (internal/store/builds.go:75) is a correct single-transaction select-and-update so several processes are safe; the design does not use that.
Remedy: -jobs N in the runner; an image: per job once isolation exists.
