109 e2e tests boot a real daemon each; the suite takes 400-700 s. control_test.go has 8 unit tests, gitutil 1. freePorts (e2e/ssh_test.go:41) has a documented race and 17 time.Sleep calls remain. Nothing covers large repositories, concurrent pushes or non-ASCII paths.
Remedy: table-driven parsing tests once parseFlags exists; a unicode-path test and a concurrent-push test.
