Nothing serves application/atom+xml: not releases, not commits, not the activity feed. Forgejo and sourcehut both offer feeds, and people follow a project's releases that way. feed already exists as a command, so the rows are there and the gap is a renderer: /{owner}/{repo}/releases.atom, /{owner}/{repo}/commits/{ref}.atom, and the activity feed for an owner. Reserved-name test if a top-level route is added.
