Adds ConnectTimeout=10, ServerAliveInterval=15 and ServerAliveCountMax=3 to every runner ssh invocation, after the identity and -ssh-opts so an operator's value overrides. A claim whose connection died silently blocked the laptop runner's poll loop for thirteen hours and left a blotter build pending.
