The web shows what changed between two revisions of a merge request.

  • /{owner}/{repo}/mrs/{n}/range-diff?from=<rev>&to=<rev> renders mr range-diff through the same control command the CLI uses; a private repository is 404 to anyone who cannot read it.
  • The MR page lists each revision with a "compare to previous" link.
  • Tests use a real private MR with two revisions: owner 200, other user and anonymous 404 with no title in the body; the template escapes diff content; one-revision and same-revision states render.
  • Parity; CHANGELOG.
