The gitbay.org runner has run builds in localhost/gitbay-ci:1 since 2026-09-06, an image with no python3, so sync-man-pages fails at its first step. The runner is scoped to named repositories, and this one is not listed until a working image exists.
The job pushes automated/man-page-catalog and opens a merge request over ssh. Inside the container the build home has no SSH key, and the runner's key is scope runner, read-only. The job needs a write-scoped deploy key delivered as a build secret, and mr create needs an account key or an API token, since deploy keys reach only git.
Last success was build 5 on 2026-08-31, before the runner was confined.
