Hutch 3.12.3

v3.12.3 cmc · 2026-09-01 03:20 UTC · source tar.gz

Marketing version 3.12.3, build 101.

READMEs

Relative links and images in a Markdown README resolve through the same code an Org one uses, rather than through a second copy of it kept in the view.

Two things that copy carried are fixed. It built git.sr.ht URLs and reached a self-hosted instance by string-replacing the host out of the finished URL, which would also rewrite a path segment that happened to read git.sr.ht; the host is now carried properly. And Markdown targets pass the same scheme allowlist Org ones do, so a data: image in a .md README is dropped, matching the WebView allow-list.

An Org link carrying a query string keeps its &.

Hutch 3.12.2

v3.12.2 cmc · 2026-09-01 00:02 UTC · source tar.gz

Marketing version 3.12.2, build 100. First release since 3.9.0; the versions between it and this one were never tagged, so their work is below.

Deploy keys

Manage a git.sr.ht repository's deploy keys from the app.

Mailing lists

Subscribe and unsubscribe from a list.

READMEs

Org READMEs render natively rather than in a web view, through the shared OrgSwift package that replaced the ~920-line in-file renderer.

Blocks inside list items render as blocks: a #+begin_src under a numbered step is a code block, not literal #+begin_src text in the running prose. Tables, quotes, and nested lists inside an item render the same way.

Accessibility

A pass over icon-only controls, with a CI check that fails on a control without a label.

Under the hood

Swift 6 language mode. The README web view's allow-list drops the data: scheme. Development moved to gitbay.org/krz/hutch, and both the weekly man-page catalog sync and the accessibility check run in gitbay CI.
