While a configured mission runs, the System tab shows a LIVE section: the craft's path between Earth and the Moon, mission time, phase and next phase, distances from Earth's and the Moon's centres, and Follow on the Lock Screen (a Live Activity, updated while the app runs).
Server (deployed)
GET /v1/live[?at=ISO]: the event running atat(default now) and its geocentric J2000-ecliptic trajectory up to then, [unix s, x, y, z] km every 30 min from JPL Horizons. Cached in feed_snapshots; refetched at most every 10 min while incomplete. No new cron.- Horizons often has no data for the first hour or last minutes of a mission; its "No ephemeris prior to/after" reply is read and the request narrowed.
EVENTSin server/src/live.ts holds Artemis I (2022) as a replay for testing. Adding a mission is an entry there plus a deploy.
App

liveReplayAt. - Tests: Horizons parsing and limits, event lookup, response decoding (saved replay fixture), and the Moon from Astronomy Engine within 3,000 km of Artemis I at closest approach (same frame as Horizons).
Checked
- Replay at 2022-11-21 13:00 UTC on the simulator: 379,241 km from Earth, 2,563 km from the Moon's centre, phase "Outbound lunar flyby".
- Not checked: the Live Activity on a device; there is no live event now.
